The enterprise has two gas—steam combined cycle unit waste heat boilers. Since their operation, they have been in a state with 1 unit of peak loading, 1 unit of continuous operation, or 1 unit of standby and 1 unit of peak loading. Therefore, their water—gas quality fluctuation is relatively large.
The inspection team rapidly arranged the inspection task and assigned it to technical members led by inspectors. Based on the boiler and water treatment conditions of the enterprise, they formulated an inspection plan, calibrated inspection equipment with standard materials, and prepared sample bottles.
In the boiler water—gas sampling room, the inspection personnel used high—precision dissolved oxygen analyzers, conductivity meters, pH meters, and other instruments to conduct on—site inspection of the dissolved oxygen content, hydrogen conductivity, pH, and other indicators in the water. The inspection data provided a comparative basis for the enterprise's online instrument display and calibration.
When inspecting the conductivity of the demineralized water tank outlet water, it suddenly started raining heavily. There was no cover for the outdoor operation, but the inspectors kept working until the on—site inspection and sampling were completed.
After the on—site inspection was completed, the inspectors transported the water samples to the Foshan Inspection Institute for laboratory testing. A report was issued within three working days through an information system to issue electronic reports, which helped the enterprise to timely track the water quality of the boiler and provide technical support for the safe operation of the boiler equipment.
